Today travel north to the rocky shores of Gloucester, originally settled shortly after Plymouth Colony, and made famous as the movie setting for the blockbuster “The Perfect Storm” starring George Clooney. Take a stroll on Rocky Neck’s Historic Art Trail, relive the legends of artists & authors of the 19th and 20th centuries. Next is Rockport where you may photograph the iconic red fishing shack: “Motif Number One,” symbolic of New England maritime life.
