A hill top vantage point of Golden Triangle gives a view of the splendor of the mighty Mekong River joining forces with the Ruak River and forming the actual “Triangle” with Laos, Myanmar (Burma), and Thailand. Visit Akha and Yao hill tribe villages along the way to witness the fascinating lifestyles of these ethnic groups who make a living from the land. The trip is also made to the Thai Elephant Care Center where you can enjoy a half day in a natural home and sanctuary for Thai elephants, a wonderful introduction to the majestic Asian Elephant.
