Monday: Jerash and Amman City tour

After breakfast, head north of Amman to visit Jerash, the best preserved of the Decapolis Roman cities. Afterwards, return to Amman for a city tour visiting the Citadel and the Roman Amphitheater in the downtown area, the oldest parts of Amman. Then return to the hotel for overnight.

Tuesday: Madaba & Mount Nebo - Umm Al Rasas –Petra

9.00 AM - After breakfast, head south of Amman to visit St. George’s Church in Madaba which houses the famous sixth century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Then continue to Mount Nebo to visit the Byzantine church overlooking the Jordan Valley. A short distance away on the way to Petra, visit a World Heritage Site “Umm Al Rasas” which has unique mosaics and a Stylite tower. Late in the afternoon, arrive at Petra and check in at one of the hotels in Wadi Mousa (Petra) for the night.

Wednesday: Petra tour – Wadi Rum

7.00 AM- A full day is dedicated to visit Jordan’s Jewel – Petra- one of the new 7 wonders of the world. After a three-hour drive, the tour starts with a short horseback ride, then you a walk through the “Siq” to uncover the secrets of this ancient Nabatean city. Late afternoon, drive South-East to Wadi Rum to explore the one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world for 2 hours in a 4X4 pickup. After the tour, drive to one of the camp sites for the night.

Overnight stay: Rum Oasis Luxury Camp (standard 4 star option) or Mazayen Luxury Camp (deluxe 4 star deluxe option)

Rum Oasis Luxury Camp

With mountain views, Rum Oasis Luxury Camp is situated in Wadi Rum and has a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the tented camp free of charge.

9:00 AM - After breakfast drive to the Amman for free time, and then transfer to the airport for departure.

Please note:-
Dress Code - Although Jordan is a liberal country, it is always recommended to dress conservatively. When visiting any religious site, shoulders must be covered, and shorts are not allowed. In the summer, the mid-day sun tends to be quite hot, so wearing protective clothing such as hats or head scarves is advisable. Sunglasses and a high-protection sunscreen are also very much recommended. Many Tours involve walking long distances and sometimes on uneven terrain, therefore, comfortable walking shoes are best.

Tipping- this is never required but always appreciated, especially by guides and drivers. A 10% to 15% service charge may be added to the bill in hotels and restaurants.

Credit Cards - Hotels, restaurants, and larger shops all accept credit cards including American Express, Visa, and MasterCard. Smaller shops and local Souks prefer cash payments in Jordanian Dinars.

Departure Tax - there is a departure tax of JD10 per person when leaving Jordan by land or sea. This is included for guests departing on scheduled flights.

Baggage Handling -The tour price includes the handling of 1 average-size suitcase not to exceed 76x46x25cms (30x18x10 inches) and a handbag that can fit in the overhead compartment of the coach or in the back of the car. We reserve the right to charge for additional luggage. All hotels in Jordan will gladly offer to store any additional luggage.
